Plastic Coating in Hereford

Thick, tough, soft-touch protection for metal, ideal where you want grip, insulation and a hard-wearing finish.

What is plastic coating?

Also known as plastisol or PVC dip coating, the process heats the metal part and dips it into a fluidised plastic powder, which melts and builds into a thick, flexible plastic layer. The result is a smooth, durable, slightly soft finish that’s very different from paint or powder.

Benefits

  • Comfortable, soft-touch grip
  • Electrical insulation
  • Strong corrosion and chemical resistance
  • Quiet, non-marking and weatherproof
  • Thick, cushioning protection against knocks

Typical uses

  • Tool and equipment handles
  • Racking, shelving, baskets and trays
  • Railings, grab rails and handrails
  • Agricultural and industrial fittings
